Marks on Paper

[Tra'atan]

(The piece of paper is devoid of any commonly understood writing, instead consisting of a dozen abstract scribbles that must be symbols. Something in there might be a signature.)

Stops, as she is passing and takes a long, long moment to stare at it. Then scratching her head in bemusement, keeps walking past...

 

[Corwyn Burlisk]

*Stops to look at the parchment, reading nothing he can understand (quite unusual for one such as him). Ever curious, he manifests hypercognition on the paper. Finding nothing of intrest he sets the paper back down, shrugs, and continues to rifle through the assorted messages.*

(The man returns and after glancing around, goes over some of the symbol-scribbles with a graphite stick, making them stand out.)

. o O ( There. Perhaps now she will see them. )

 

[Chria'Inz]

A woman dressed in white silk shirt and leather pants scans the board from behind her white silk veil until she finds this paper. Cinnamon is evident in the perfume of the oils on her skin. With red ink, she quickly scrawls another symbol over the top of one piece of paper, interrupted momentarily by the approach of her master, but manages to strengthen a couple of her lines before moving away.

 

[Khro'aarian]

*steps out of an alleyway near the South Gate and wanders across to the boards. Quickly locating the "strange" posts, he pins one of his own nearby. The brown paper has 3 symbols/pictures made up of angular lines with one apparently struck through and a smell like moist forests and spices.*
