Firstly, I agree that the Styles as they are now are bland at best, you suggestion is not a bad one, will be considered
Secondly, the Unarmed Damage will probably stay as is, since I like the fact that MAs (and monks in general) often gain an increased damage with their fist, showing a extent of training beyond mere levels and skills
Thirdly, the +1 to attacks, would probably lower the prof bonus to unarmed to +2 and let the MA choose 1 or 2 MA special Weapon that gain a +1 bonus... or maybe give all of them a +1 bonus, but that seems iffy since those are the weapons most likely used.
I am not a fan of "gain bonus against target of last action" things, since it only gives something more to keep track of
Fourthly, Meditations stays, though of course critique is always appreciated. And since you point out the Bonus issue, Strengthen the Body is my way of dealing with the Magic Item Unarmed issue, and Feet of the Wind could be easily restricted to "Looses function in battle" (though not in certain skill checks, like the Chase for instance)
Finally, If you could, would you look through post #9 and see what you think about the Flurry of Blows vs Quivering Blow thing ... really would like input on that issue
As always, thanks for the input
