MC Cleric

I've asked this question before and the answer in the past was for me to wait until PHB2 and look at those classes. I found three that i like (Avenger, Invoker, and Warden), however, Avenger is right out because my cleric isn't the sharpest sword in the group. The other two are still viable, but last week's game gave me reason to think.

Thanks to my Daily powers, i saved three of the party from almost certain death. This made me think that, under the right circumstances, my cleric is capable of kicking major undead keister.

So my question is two-fold.

Is there now a more appropriate MC for a cleric with a high Str, medium, Con, low Dex and Int, and high-medium Wis and Cha?

Does it seem that characters who do not MC become steadily better at what they were designed to do?

Any input is welcomed and appreciated.

With Kensei PP, as all the kensei's attacks use Str.

If you want to concentrate on whuppin' undead, then there may be better choices for your feats than MC. Take a look at Dragon #371 and you'll find "Heritage Feats" that are very useful for undead smiters.
