Meeting EN Worlders in real life

... the love you gave me, nothing else can save me, SOS,
when you're gone, how can I even try to go on...

:)

Am I the only person left in the world who still loves ABBA?

Anyway, I want to meet all of you, but first I have to find myself...

As for this bunch, I'd give my left nut to meet 'em:

My best friends and staunchest allies here, however, are people I have yet to meet. I hope at some point in the future to cross paths with King Stannis, Quickbeam, SHARK, Snoweel, Talath and Colonel Hardisson.

I have corresponded extensively with all of these folks, but as has been mentioned by others in the thread, there is really no substitute for the booze/cigars/kicking back element of a face-to-face meeting:)

If you guys can make the overland trek to Cypress, California, I'll cross the Pacific for it. Just gimme a month's notice.

Scotch, cigars and free thought all-round at SHARK's place.

I'm f---ing THERE brothers!

Total number of EN worlders met in person: None :( .

Not really that reamarkable considering it seems that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE from these boards lives in Kansas (well, at least im the only one who will admit to it). Come on now people surely im not the only flatlander on these boards!

I plan on meeting a few people at the '03 GenCon, assuming life dosent happen to me ;) .

I've met a few folks from the boards and really enjoyed it. The time spent withCreative Mountain, Morrus, Twin Rose and THG Hal[ was the best part of Gen Con for me.

I have a good number of friends from the EN Boards in my hometown, but of them only Geist was met here at the EN boards.

Right back at ya, TB! My brother lives in San Diego, so maybe when they finally get that West Coast GenCon going...

I haven't met anyone from the boards yet, but TB and his list sound like a good start. Eric Noah is another guy I'd like to cross paths with, and GrutheWanderer (especially because of his tireless work on the Middle Earth d20 site), Grazzt, and Orcus are all folk I've corresponded with and with whom I seem to share similar points of view. I'd like to shake hands with all of them, for various reasons.

...I'm sure I'm forgetting more than a few, but those are a good core group.

I'm coming to the states to visit my parents for three weeks this xmas. I'd live to visit fellow enworlders in the Central Illinois (I'm from Normal, my parents live in Mackinaw now) and upstate/Chicago area.

Nah, just the only straight guy left.

I'm still hoping to run into SHARK, as well.
