Doubtful, my good man. The most probable convention I might attend is Origins. Let me break it down for you...

one week vacation/year + fear of flying + home in east PA = maybe Origins

Well I hope you guys all have fun at GenCon. I have wanted to for the past 3 years or so, but things just have not worked out. First year I ended up going to an Anime convention and the past two years I've been out of work. Oh well such is life. Just make sure you tell everyone of the fun you have at GenCon. :)

Don't worry too much about them having too much fun. I'll be close enough to keep an eye on them in booth #1147. ;-)

Hehe-The blind leading the blind.

Ryan- Of course Jessica can come sign books. She has internal art in there as well too.

Twin Rose- You are on the flier too. Not to worry. We are thrilled to have ya there and the CD is awesome.

Kahn-Thanks bud, wish you were coming.

Napftor- It would be great to have you there to. Maybe one day trips to a con won't be a vacation but part of the job.

Psychotic Dreamer- Well, It will be there next year too. As a gamer I can say you should try to get to one. You will have a blast!!!

In addition, we have generated and illustrated six Pcs that will be used in the demos. We thought you might enjoy having them as well. Here is the link for the PC bundle. In it you will find a Canite Ranger, a Half-Elf Witch, a Gildan Sorcerer, a Romanus Centurion, a Grolm Cleric from Dunreth, and a Halfing Rogue..

Just a note to say that I'll be running a game set in Bluffside over the first three days of the CON too, won't be useing the pregen characters as above, and no previews of them yet, still working on em (yes team I'll be back in my cage soon finishing them up).

The adventure as I say will run over 3 days with different people (it cpould be you.. :) ) playing the characters, each day they will go up a level, starting at 7th on teh first day, and there'll be a little something extra for the PCs each day too.. ;)

Anyway looking forward to seeing all you guys at the CON..

Andrew "The Lonley Brit" Troman

Wolfgang Baur signing

I just got word that Wolfgang (and Shelley) Baur will be at the MEG booth on Saturday signing their modules produced by our fellow boothmates, Gaslight Press.

Maybe next year

I just want to wish all my buds from Thunderhead good luck at GenCon. I wish I could be there this year, but alas it wasnt meant to be. Maybe next year.

I also wish good tiddings to the MEG game crew, and an overall good luck to the team at the ENnies.

:)

Saw Bradbury at Comicon this year. He had a little something to say about his (now long past) fear of flying. Seems it wasn't the flying he was scared of, it was the possibility that he'd freak out on the plane and act like a loon. That he'd lose control.

That might be the case with you. Look into it.

BTW, one thing that worked for my older brother (wart removal surgery) was getting so engrossed in something (a comic book) he completely lost himself in it (he was nine at the time, so it wasn't that hard to do:)). The next time you have to fly, take along a good book. Start reading before the plane takes off. Before you know it, you'll be hours into the flight, and you might be at your destination if it's a short one.

Well, thanks, Mythusmage. But this is not the case with me. I've been on planes before (been to Mexico and back which required 3 planes) but just not comfortable with them. Especially in light of the 9/11 events. I'd really like to go to the British Isles, but I'm waiting for the trans-Atlantic bridge. :)

Wish I could go to either one, but until I can overcome panic attacks while riding in a vehicle. the only way I can get to a Con is if I were to walk.:D

But I'm working on that and hopefully next year I'll attend both Origins and GenCon!

Hope everyone has a safe and very enjoyable GenCon!!!
