Menace of the Icy Spire (Ozymandias79 judging)

[sblock=Time]
It's still mid-morning - you woke up at the crack of dawn, got ferried through the icy water for an hour or so, and then trudged towards the ship for another hour and had 5 to 10 minutes of combat.

Note this means you can take a 6-hour extended rest and still have a few hours of daylight left to continue. You don't need to actually sleep during that rest for it to count, as long as you don't exert yourself. (And if you're not sleeping, no need to keep watch separately.) However, you have to wait 12 hours between extended rests to get mechanical benefits, so if you do that, get into another daylight encounter, and then sleep at night, the night's rest won't regain any powers or healing surges.

"I know I'm not ready to camp here, I want to get farther inland. I don't feel safe with this ship, and I don't feel safe out on the ice. Once we get off this ice sheet we can build a fire."

"I agree, let us push on and see if we can make it to solid ground." Janus says, rejoining his comrades. "I have found the captains log, there was no mention of this disaster in it, so perhaps it occured with great speed."
Janus adds.

The wizard the produces a small flame for Blath, in and effort to ward of frostbite.

"I agree, let's try to get what we came for done and get off this accursed rock" Murphy says, standing up from his brief rest.

Balth nods, "I agree with that sentiment."

After resting for a few minutes with the fire warming his mittens, he thanks the mage and removes the round gloves long enough to strap on the boards, places his hands back into the mittens and treks around the ship making sure there is no more danger until everyone is ready to go. He will then resume point, scouting the way ahead. He moves slowly, "The way ahead seems much more precarious. I will need some time."

You gather up the sleds and set out again. The rest of the trek across the ice goes without incident, and finally you are able to heave the sleds up onto land at the base of a rickety old dock. From here, a frozen dirt trail cuts back and forth up the steep hillside for about 200 feet. The top of the trail is directly overhead; although most of the cliff top is overhung with white, straggly trees, the area around the trail is bare.

Fortunately the trail's surface is covered with embedded rocks and ridges, so the footing looks passable, but there are some treacherous looking slick patches. Hauling the sleds up there will be tiring.

Same marching order, right? Balth scouting in front, Murphy and Shorrin have one sled, Larinza and Janus the other?

If you have to single file, which sled is in front? If you end up with one person pulling and one pushing, who pulls (for each sled)?

The birds are still watching you. Nothing else is moving.

Murphy will be part of the second sled, pulling it so he's not in the rear, but also not in the front either

"Keep a keen eye on the rocks above, we dont want what startled the birds earlier to drop in on us unannounced. Shorrin, with Balth clearing the trail ahead, it might be best if you secure our rear. What say ye?"

Yes good Idea, keep the two squishy one in the middle. So I propose something like this sled 1: Larinza pulling, Janus pushing. Sled 2: Murphy pulling, Shorrin pulling.
