Yup.

For pretty much all intents and purposes, a Large Bastard Sword in 3.5 is what 3E called a Fullblade.

Ahh, so, a full blade does a 2d8. Thats what I'm looking for then. Thanks

Large Bastard Sword deals 2d8, I think.

Ehm, the Greatsword is already large, and does 2d6.
But with Bastard sword being a hand and a half weapon it deals slightly more damage
as with comparing the normal bastard sword with a long sword, 1d8 and 1d10
and now its a 2d6 and 2d8..

Huge greatsword does.. 3d6 (i think)

bladed gauntlet in my version got 1d6 19-20/x2 Slashing
What does it say in the *1st edition* of the book?

Its true i dont want to use alot of money buying the *usless and ruined 3.5 books*

but, ... 3.5 its a medium twohanded weapon dealing 2d6

In the simple and easy 3.0

its just a large weapon, as they would count as twohanded for a medium character.

And I would say, that the weapon in no way is medium (as 3.5 states) but it does limit
the Huge Feathered bastard sword used by a character with Monkey grib, because of the penalty for using weapons not meant to be used that way.

because 3.5 is ilogical... (didn't think of the 3.5 's ilogical rules before writing as im a very logical person, even the concept of magic, can i understand as it is put in a logical way, but a big sword is just medium.. seems.. strange...)

Why? A T-shirt comes in Small, Medium, and Large (and for gaming conventions, XXXXXXL) for people sized similarly. What's so illogical about weapons that have size designations reflecting who most effectively uses them?

3.5's system is at least as logical as 3E's; it just takes a tiny mental wrench to get out of the old mindset.

You realize that the 3.0 "Large" greatsword is actually smaller in physical size than a Medium man? How logical is that?

How big is a 3.0 Large shield?

In 3.0 parlance, what size is a Colossal creature's greatsword?

Everything in d&d is made from the normal being a Medium being, if Your small as a character, you gain bonuses, if your bigger, you gt a penalty.

So bac kto the XXXL T-shirt question... The system is based on medium size, e.i. seen from a medium perspective, so if the XL T-shirt fit a normal medium person, then a XXL would fit a large..
An ogre could say, "This is my normal T-shirt" while the medium human say: "Damn its XXL who made it?"
And as its a medium perspective, it doesn't change name according to who wears it, but stay as how a medium being would se it
