Yup.
For pretty much all intents and purposes, a Large Bastard Sword in 3.5 is what 3E called a Fullblade.

What does it say in the *1st edition* of the book?

Its true i dont want to use alot of money buying the *usless and ruined 3.5 books*

In the simple and easy 3.0
its just a large weapon, as they would count as twohanded for a medium character.
And I would say, that the weapon in no way is medium (as 3.5 states) but it does limit
the Huge Feathered bastard sword used by a character with Monkey grib, because of the penalty for using weapons not meant to be used that way.

Why? A T-shirt comes in Small, Medium, and Large (and for gaming conventions, XXXXXXL) for people sized similarly. What's so illogical about weapons that have size designations reflecting who most effectively uses them?Goolpsy said:

You realize that the 3.0 "Large" greatsword is actually smaller in physical size than a Medium man? How logical is that?
How big is a 3.0 Large shield?
In 3.0 parlance, what size is a Colossal creature's greatsword?

Everything in d&d is made from the normal being a Medium being, if Your small as a character, you gain bonuses, if your bigger, you gt a penalty.
So bac kto the XXXL T-shirt question... The system is based on medium size, e.i. seen from a medium perspective, so if the XL T-shirt fit a normal medium person, then a XXL would fit a large..
An ogre could say, "This is my normal T-shirt" while the medium human say: "Damn its XXL who made it?"
And as its a medium perspective, it doesn't change name according to who wears it, but stay as how a medium being would se it
