As for my Archer now, he's an elven 2 fighter/8 Transmuter. He's got an item that lets him cast GMW 3 levels higher and some other neat tricks like empowered Cat's Grace to hit a 26 Dex. 2 more levels of fighter and he'll probably go Sacred Exorcist to deal with those pesky Outsiders. Cleric BAB, d8 and full spellcasting, oh yeah.

Sounds munchkin. :D
My guy is a wild elf Brb2/Rgr1/Fig2/Deepwood Sniper2/Peerless Archer3, converted from a 1E Unearthed Arcana Barbarian with Weapon Specialization: Bow. Back then my DM allowed me to swap out the Barbarian's innate DR penetrating ability with Weapon Specialization.

Freak its hard converting those UA Barbarian monsters! I had to go crazy with multiclassing to make him anywhere near the dragon-smiting archer barbarian he was in 1E. I was pretty frustrated I had to burn two of his levels for Fighter, but it was the only way to meet the Feat prereq for Peerless Archer in 7 levels.

BTW, don't you think your character will go insane if he has to hear "swift death to my enemies" from his bow every time he fires? Imagine when he gets 4 attacks per round. "Swift death to my enemies, swift death to my enemies, swift'' Oh shut up already! Snap ;)

Not with your sunder rules, you don't. ;) Unless you take an AoO on your bow. :D

From reading the exchange between Kai Lord and the two of you (Jeremy and Xarlen) I get the feeling that you either never played 1E, or that you've completely forgotten the differences between the two editions of the game.

Hey, like I said, it's 1e. It's understandable. :)

Why hello, Andy. Glad to hear you made it out of Shawshank ok.

Straight!

Given the choice between a cool cinematic death now and a lame gay death later, you'll always choose lame and gay.

Hey! Who said lame and gay go together? Not very PC. :)

Straight.

Merciful? Dignity? If breaking your neck when you fall a few feet because your lard-butt of a rider is too heavy is Dignified, then I have to ask you what your opinon of Unmerciful is.

Unmerciful is being told by the evil sorcerer that if he ever kills you, he'll animate your body and use it to kill your lover. Then, when his pet hell hound rips out your throat and your spirit begins drifting up to the heavens, looking down helplessly on your dead body as your lifeless eyes open and your corpse begins to rise.

Sounds like a party!

Of course, my Lover would be Lauriel, Archmage and one of the Seven Sisters. Let's see her get bested by a friggin' zombie.

Or, that hot-to-trot white dragoness under my power who's polymorphed. For my pleasure. :) (And, she has a neck brace, so nyah)

Oh brother...

Got a problem with gay?

Got a problem with colloquialisms?

Everything has its place. High fantasy staring Nathan Lane directed by John Waters, out of place. In fact, your extreme sensitivity to one pejorative, "gay", but complete lack of sensitivity to another, "lame", leads me to correctly conclude that you sir must hate the disabled with a burning passion. And as we all know people who hate the disabled like Mr. Reynolds also like to kill puppies with their bare hands because they like to feel that last wimper.

Can I assume that we're now done with our Hypersensitivity and Spastic Indignation workshop? I'd like to return to our regularly scheduled tangent. Thank you.
