Ok, another Warmage question!

Warmage Edge gives +INT bonus to damage with damage dealing spells. Does this apply only to spells that the Warmage casts? How about from wands or other magic items? If not, how about wands, etc that the Warmage crafts himself?

From the wording, I guess that it is only gained from spells actually cast by the Warmage, not from items - any clarifications on that?

The way we do it is, it works with wands (and what ever) if they where made by a warmage. Otherwise we say it only applies to his spells he actually casts. Nothing official though.

How do you find them as PCs compared to other core classes? We just created one for a new player, looks like they could be quite chunky (well for combats anyway)

I would apply it only to spells and spell-completion (but not spell-trigger) items.
