Mistakes in KotS pre-gen Ranger?

-It says the Ranger gets a +4 bonus on attacks with the longsword. Shouldn't it be +5 because of +2 Str and +3 prof bonus?

-Shouldn't the Ranger have a -1 check penalty because of Hide armor? The skills don't seem to factor this in.

There's a KotS ranger? Another bonus, like the warlord?

Anyway, yes if he has 14 strength his Longsword should be +5.
