Miyazaki's Spirited Away

Okay, So I just watched this movie and I am not totally sure what is going on. I liked it, but in the same breath I was a bit disturbed...

What did others think of this movie..?

I loved it. But then again, I love most anything Miyazaki does... It's one of his top three, at any rate.

I loved it. It was so full of imagination like no Hollywood film I've seen before.

It was fantastic! Since taking my daughter to see it in the theater, she has bought the video and watched it a dozen times. She recently got some of his other films (Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Princess Mononoke).

I can't believe the "Academy" actually did something right, and gave this film "Best Animated Film" last year. Sometimes they get it right. Rare, but it happens....

Heh, I love all of those films... Though Castle in the Sky is probably my least favorite. I love Kiki's alot though, for some reason... It's all warm and fuzzy.

Count me as another fan of Spirited Away, as well. My youngest daughter also enjoyed it very much, so I got it for her for Christmas. While I enjoy many of the Disney cartoons, they have started to get a bit stale lately. They all seem so similar. Spirited Away was like a breath of fresh air.

Yup, one of my top 5 all time childrens flicks. My girlfriend owns the original (Japan). I have yet to see it in English. For some weird reason, this film gives the same nostalgic feeling of Labyrinth.

All his films are brillant, but Number 1 is Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind.

NONE can touch the original, in my OH so humble opinion.
