Don't mean to nitpick, but for Section 15 don't you have to include a complete copy of everything that is in the source's Section 15?

Well, yes and no.

You don't have to be redundant in your listing by copying the exact Section 15-- for example, you don't have to relist every SRD attribution from every book-- but you do have to list all of the individual copyright notices. You DO have to include all the copyright notices listed in Section 15 from any source.

I believe TFT must be attributed. Because it is listed as a source of derivation for POTS, POTS is now "infected" with TFT's open content. (Pardon my use of the term.)

There is no way to use Open Content from POTS without also attributing the sources used in POTS, and that would seem to include TFT.

EDIT: Just two more things.

Just to extrapolate what can happen by dropping out an attributed source, imagine what would happen if someone were to use content from Ultimate Feats and reduce the copyright attribution down to simply, "Ultimate Feats Copyright 2002 Mongoose Publishing." There'd a huge list of folks there who have suddenly lost their proper copyright credit!

Same exact thing going on with POTS and TFT: They can't just cut TFT out of the attribution "loop." If it is listed as a source for POTS, it must be listed as a source for Ultimate Feats.

Although I haven't seen the Section 15s of most of those other works, they may be affected as well if Mongoose repeats this error.

Finally, IANAL, but hopefully my layman's explanation is up to snuff.

Cool, TFT is infectious! And Wulf Ratbane is 'ANAL'.

My apologies. I haven't had anything to eat today, and I only had 4 hours of sleep. I'm in scoodely-oodely land.

All kinds of cool!

Hey that's great. So glad to see some of the NBOF feats in print. We've been asleep lately due to my wedding and some other factors. Well be back in action soon though.

Awsome to see some of our authors published in a printed book. That will realy give many of them a thrill, myself included.

I recently finished work proofing and standardizing many of our feats for the next version, not to mention trying to eliminate duplicates and the like. It's a lot of work. I'll be sure to pick up a copy of Ultimate Feats and see what you've done with them, and to check out all the other goodies you've gathered.

I hope Ultimate Feats is a big success for you guys and well be sure to help pimp it for you on our site.

All the best,

You have no idea.

HA! Lightweight. I was up till 5 am playing Civ 3 Multiplayer (for the 5th time in 4 nights...)

And other than a couple of typos up there, see how cogent I am?

It's all about the dunkin donuts coffee.

I'm not sure which is longer, this one or the creature collection hosted on here, that has it broken down by creature and includes the orginal pre-srd sources.

Re Wulf/ENWicket

Just a note on the source of my late nights - assembling this little collection.

Matthew's posted the primary list that I sent him - as in the list that we had assembled for cross-referencing to file x or y and had laid out to see just how big it was going to look in the finished book and what text size we'd have to use to make it reasonable. This does not include the sources for each of the books we have drawn feats (and therefore OGC) from.

The final section fifteen is a few lines longer because of the handful of books listed as sources that aren't already appearing in the section 15 in their own right and yes, TFT is one of them.

It is always nice to see your name in print, but do you plan to send complimentary copies to the author's whose feats you publish? I know you don't have to, and with so many contributors it might be inconvenient to do so. But it would be very nice of you to do so.

/Starfox, a.k.a. Carl Cramér, who wrote about thirty of your feats.
