Monster Cohort

How to know the freaking level it is work ...

My cleric can use a lvl8 cohort ...

I want a monster to help me input fear agaisnt my ennemies... so my army crush them better... Heironeous can just hide

I guess as long as the creature doesn't have more than 8 hit die, you should be fine. I'm not sure about that though. It might be safer to figure up the creature's ECL and use that to determine whether or not you can use it as a cohort.

but been 2 week and still no cohort ... (the feat was took at 6) I'm now nine...

And got a little army under me...fun to be the lead priest of the temple of Hextor in a little no name city

Thats harsh not havign the cohort yet. I would go with Kreynolds suggestion. it may require some rethinking if you seke a new monster cohort at a higher level.
