D&D (2024) Monster manual Fey video up

It's still early, not every is necessary is finalized.
The bullet point list wad very full featured abd specific, however.

In terms if what I think Crawford is talking about...they are working on something with an Artificer. And something with non-Humanoud PC Species options. Perhaps Cobstructs (Warforged), Fey (Changelings), Monstrosities (Shifters), or Aberrations (Kalashtar)...?

Strongly negative impression of design discussed here…even if I would not call it transparent (it took multiple listens to figure out the bias they have), at least the goals are being spelled out. Will put up my own critique post in more detail.

The arch-hag sounds pretty awesome. I was mildly interested before, but now I am pretty excited to see it!

Personally I was more excited about the reference to Baba Yaga, I’d have preferred that they had stats for selected unique Fey Lords - one of who was the Arch-Hag “Baba Yaga” (or even Black Annis). But leaning in to the mythology via giving them anathemas and more curse powers is cool

They generally avoid putting unique NPCs in the Monster Manual. There’s a reason why Orcus, Demogorgon, and the Archfiends are in the Monsters of the Multiverse book instead of the Monster Manual. The Tarrasque is the sole exception in 5e.

I will probably (re)make a Baba Yaga statblock after the MM comes out.

For PC species that are fey (or abberation, or anything else) in the MM but humanoid in the PHB: 'When you're a player, you've lost some of your feyness and become humanoid."
