Honestly, I think that FR will be retired if Eberron sells well this summer. WOTC and Hasbro want a new toy.

the rumor i heard:

mentioned other setting winners too. it seems that WotC went back and asked the designers of other settings to submit ideas/monsters for a new book. at Gen Con last year they weren't sure what they would call the book, but were batting around the Monster Manual III idea.

but like any rumor believe only what you can confirm.

I guess the real question is what will be the ratio of creative/inspiring monsters to filler/uninspired monsters?

Has anyone else noticed there is a book called Frostburn (from the "Environment Series") coming out in September?

What will this be? A book about adventuring in cold climate perhaps?
