Monster Manual IV thoughts?

I think it is a good new direction for monster manuals to go. You can look through it and have half finnished adventures jump out at you, while still getting most of the utility of a classic MM.

I like most of the "classic" monsters with added class levels. It is probably done best for the tribe of Lizardmen that is described and that can be put direcly into an adventure. The book facilitates preparing games, and honestly an Ogre Scout 3 is at least as likely to be useful to me as a "weird aberration #4435" for the same CR.

I know i am in the minority , but i even like the dragonspawn. They allow me to have my players interact with "dragons" at low levels without sending them on a babyhunt.

I consider it leaps and bounds better than the fiend folio.
