D&D 5E Monster Manual soon to be in the wild!

Does it give suggested dimensions for creatures based on creature size? Looking at the real world animals in Basic D&D, it seems they're aiming for something similar to 3e, but there is nothing in Basic actually telling us the meaning of the sizes.

It looks like the 3e chart at first glance.

• Tiny: 2.5x2.5
• Small & Medium: 5x5
• Large: 10x10
• etcetera

Yeah, for combat space, but what I'm really wanting to know about is actual creature dimensions. Ie, in 3e medium was 4'-8', large 8'-16', huge 16'-32', gargantuan 32'-64', colossal 64'+.

In reality I suppose I understand why that might be a hard thing to do, but it still bothers me.

Printing a couple dozen copies and shipping them to one place seems easy. Printing a couple hundred thousand copies and shipping them to thousands of game/book stores worldwide probably takes a bit longer.

I really think WotC could benefit from some consumer response consulting just to have someone one step removed from design to tell them, "You probably don't want to do that. People will go ape****." There are a lot of us Planescape fans who are going to be disappointed

That would have really helped when they made the 5e tiefling exactly like the 4e tiefling.

There's a lot in 5e that I'm totally cool with and happy to see, but a few things like that just stick out as genuinely bizarre decisions when it would have been trifling to include 2e/3e tieflings in all their fiend-blooded diversity.

Other than combat size, the MM says se the PH(B) for further info on sizes, which doesn't appear to have anything on creatures larger than medium.
