Monsters new to 3E?

Hey, I loved the dahdi! It was the perfect monster for p***ing off obnoxious players, especially powergamers.

For those not familiar with the golden age of White Dwarf (before Game's Workshop turned it into advertising for Warhammer), the dahdi was a sort of anti-mummy. It could only be hit by normal weapons (magic doing no damage), it reflected fire and holy water (but was damaged by normal water), and when slain, its bandages could be used to cure disease. Stupid, but well designed.

I loved the dahdi too! And the nilbog!

Cheers

The Tojanida was in the Companion Set of rules for OD&D, from the BECMI series of box sets.

You're thinking of the hydrax, a sort of three-clawed crab made out of ice. Mind you, they're very close in concept. The hydrax had some formidable magical abilities - I've actually used one.
