Fingerspitzengefu/ühl means being able to act/tread carefully if you need to. Dealing with angry employees, considering new PrCl for your campaign and posting on a message board without stepping on someone's toes all requires some amount of fingerspitzengefuhl.

According to my online dictionary, it is translated with "sure instincts" or "flair", but that doesn't really mean what it means
ETA: Oh... err... I'm definitely looking forward to the Book of Iron Might. I was interested in the Warforged as well, but I'd rather use a Mearls-version

Glad to see people are interested in this book. I hope that I can a do a good enough job with it to justify the interest.
DaveMage - Glad you like my stuff. When I was a freelancer, I was a bit maniacal about getting as much work as possible. I lucked out in getting into the d20 market early and having companies that believed in my talents.
No one's come close to the reason yet, though I like the sounds of a Stepford wife. Especially Nicole Kidman... *rowr*.
Nightfall - Just let me recover my laptop from my place before you start cooking. We actually do have a crappy old grill out back, though I think if my dad buys a new one I might inherit the one he has now.
My hope is that once we start doing previews, we can give everyone a really clear picture about the book. My hope is that we give you enough information that you will either see that the book is cool and go buy it, or if it isn't your thing you can see that before you pay money to learn that. Needless to say, I have enough faith in the book that I think the more people learn about it, the more they'll like it.

Trust me Mike your work on Blood Bayou was excellent even if not everyone agreed with your vision. (I however thoroughly enjoyed it. )
So I have faith in that and the fact Legacy was very, very cool. So BoIM has some high expectations but I don't think they have much to worry about failing them.
(Btw Mike just let me know how you like your house done, extra crispy or cinders and ashes. )
