Mook Grappling

I can follow 1-1 grappling, and apply the rules, but I kind of get hung up when I try to get mooks to grapple one target. For example, 4 orcs wanto to grapple Durgen, the Dwarf, whose AC 24 (due to shield and full plate) makes it pretty unlikey they're going to damage him with their axes.
1) What is the effect of more than one opponent in a grapple?

2) Can the Orcs use Aid Another?

3) Is there any Circumstance bonus that apply because of more opponents?

4) Any way to handle this combat reducing the amount of rolls to make?

Sorry, but the grapple rules (3.0) are the only hurdle that constantly confuses me, so if anybody can clear this up for me I'd appreciate it. By the way, are their any significant changes to grappling in (3.5)?

There is a section on ganging up in the 3.0 PHB combat section. Don't take this as gospel, but off the top of my head I believe what you do is have one guy initiate the grapple and three others assist him. I believe that a medium-sized creature can be grappled by a maximum of four medium-sized creatures at once. So you'd choose one guy to be the main grappler, then the other three would roll against a DC 10 to each add +2 to his grapple check.

The grapple rules in 3.5 are not really changed, but they are explained a bit better.

In 3.5, to escape a grapple, you need to beat /all/ of your opponent's checks. Also, if the target is already grappled, your touch attack automatically succeeds and provokes no AoO.
