Most Often Used Skill?

Rough to determine...

Spot & Listen are pretty common.

Move Silently & Hide (the Deadly Combo -- 90% of the time used together, but seperate rolls, so double the chance for blowing it) are also high up.

In order, probably Spot, Listen, Search, and Balance. After that, Knowledge checks of various sorts. After that, Sense Motive and the big three social avenues - Diplomacy/Bluff/Intimidate.

Wow. I'm really beginning to wonder if Star Wars: Saga Edition really ought to be combining Spot, Listen, and Search (or, and Sense Motive, too!) into a single skill. From the look of this thread, it would end up being the single most useful skill the game could possibly contain (with the exception of Use the Force, in the case of Force-sensitive characters).

Spellcraft by leaps and bounds. "What did he just cast?" "Is that rune a magic effect?" "Is that thing magical?" Mix with detect magic, of course, when necessary. I've also incorporated a House Rule which increases its use, making spellcasters able to bypass certain negative planar effects through Spellcraft checks if they don't have spell keys, but even without that, its multiple checks for every spell cast by an enemy (and often by PCs) in a session!
