Most useless book ever?

I've gotten rid of a lot of my books of late. The one that I sold with the least amount of hesitation was probably Mongoose's Encyclopedia Arcane - Illusion book. It may have had some good ideas, but required one to re-wire the entire illusion system.

Curse you, Deities and Demigods! Curse you!

I was going to mention Enemies and Allies, but I actually managed to use an NPC name and a weapon enchantment from that waste of trees. Deities and Demigods, though... I think the most use I got out of that was as a coaster.

Demiurge out.

(Vile damage is awesome! Man, nothing cheeses players off like encountering swarms that deal vile damage. Try it. :D )

Agh!! Delete this post!! Quick, before one of my GMs sees it!!

I hate swarms.

I guess my Stargate book is pretty useless too, since the GM flaked after three sessions and no one else in my group is likely to run a Stargate campaign. Ditto for Mutants & Masterminds, especially since it's finally been updates. But it does have good art.

Do books I can't locate count? Unearthed Arcana and Urban Arcana are pretty useless when I don't know where they are, as is my Hero 5th edition book. :p

How the hell can you lose the Hero 5th Edition book? That thing is almost as big as my car!

Relics and Rituals - 10$ bought after 3.5 came out, I used a modified vigilent before buying it, since then nothing.

MMII - used in the BoAA - online moster battle royal, but in an actual game? no.

So what's your most useless book ever?

My autographed FRCS. I think I have taken it out of the box is arrived in once. Pretty damn useless, especially since I don't play FR any more.

So many to choose from. The d20 Rokugan never got used, nor did Decipher's Lord of the Rings; so in a sense they were useless, though they did serve as bookends. MMII, MMIII and the Fiend Folio. Haven't used them either.

Enemies and Allies. I am so WotC's bitch. What was I thinking buying that one?

The "Containers" product line had one two-pager that left me a bit cold; Belt Pouch (d20): More than Just a Pocket!. I think they could have easily rolled it into the four-page book on midriff accessories.

So, are these books useless becasuse:

1) they are just badly written
2) they assume a style of gaming that doesn't fit what you do
3) you are not creative enough to find a use for the book

there are lots of reasons a book can be seen as useless......
