No. Not at all. Really. Skipped number 2. No number 2. Why would there be? It's a lie! No number 2.

I was under the illusion that there was one once, but I've been set straight.

There is no Highlander 2. There is no Highlander 2. There is no Highlander 2.

There's the Luc Besson movie.

I can't for the death of me remember the name.

Anyway, that one was good as well.

That would be "Subway".

Saw it in university, and I don't remember much about save that I didn't really see the point of the movie and it seemed kind of rambling. Of course, that could have been the hash, or the booze or just me in university. YMMV.

Take care all.

Keep trying. Its existence still remains part of my memory banks.

I first saw it as a poor bootleg dub from the overseas release. The terribleness of it still seeped through the static on the TV screen. Nevertheless, I rented it years later when it can out here in the States. "It couldn't have been that bad," I said. "Let me try it again." heh heh heh.

What a great concept, in spite of itself. I should see if I can rent the TV series now that it's coming out on DVD, just so a I can see what I missed. I heard it was pretty decent.

And nearly Lambert-free. :)

It had its moments, though it was not, IMO, as consistently good as, say, Buffy - it often stuck to the immortal-of-the-week formula, and didn't have the approachable, well-wrtitten characters or great dialogue to lift it out of the low points. But as far as I know, Lambert only showed up in the pilot episode.

Lambert's only ties to the television series were his appearance in the pilot episode (titled The Gathering with Richard Mull as the bad guy) and in the last (but not final) Highlander movie (Highlander: Endgame where Duncan kills him. So we will see no more Lambert Highlander movies...

Personally I think Highlander should get remade.

No, not another sequal, but a brand new #1.

With the right cast and director/producers, we'd get that
BRILLIANT Highlander movie we've always been waiting for
instead of that 'kinda neat' movie we have.

Actually, there is a new Highlander movie being made with a brand new cast. It's set to be called Highlander: The Source and not much is leaking out about it.

Yes, I know, but it's a standalone sequal, set in the Endgame
continuity and is about the true source of the Quickening power
and the immortals.

I'm talkin' rebooting the franchise from the scratch. Ignore the
franchise for 10-15 years and then *BAM* new movie, new
continuity, new franchise.

Startin' from scratch.
