The Jude Law film Cold Mountain has always made me want to dig out my PHB. It might be set during the American Civil War, but the plot itself is axiomatic of any great D&D adventure.

Anything mystical or fantasy makes me want to play D&D. Reading the Mistborn trilogy ATM. And it's making me want to D&D.

Berserk is awesome and was recently remade into 3 OVA movies. I think the first one is on Netflix. I wanted more Berserk so Badly I went and read all the manga.
