multiple ray sneak attacks

Good rule of Thumb is if a spell attack has you roll for each ray then its not a Percision attack.

Scorching Ray give you 1-4 Rays that each one is a separate attack.

But don't you agree that that's going to be a LOT of sneak attack damage for a single spell?

So a wand of empowered fireballs wouldn't cost more than a normal wand of fireball? Doubt it.

Wand of Empowered Fireballs would cost more then a Wand of Fireballs.

Just the spell lvl dose not change only the minium caster lvl.

Fireball 3 lvl spell
Empowered Firebal 3 lvl spell that take a 5 lvl spell slot.

Minimun caster lvl for Fireball is 5th lvl.
Minimun caster lvl for empowered Fireball is 9th lvl.

Now I see waht you mean with the cost here but there is no real rule saying different.

Actualy there is not rule saying you can make a Wand or other spell item with a Meta-Magic feat applied.

By the rules a Empowered Fireball is a 3 lvl spell with a caster lvl of 9th.

Thats all I can say.

You are so wrong. The DMG even specifically lists one as a Wand:

Charm person, heightened (3rd-level spell) 11,250 gp

The price is the same as any other 3rd-level spell.

PS: Yes, a Wand of Quickened Ray of Frost is pricey.

"Magic Items and Metamagic Spells: With the right item creation feat, you can store a metamagic version of a spell in a scroll, potion, or wand. Level limits for potions and wands apply to the spell’s higher spell level (after the application of the metamagic feat). A character doesn’t need the metamagic feat to activate an item storing a metamagic version of a spell."

So no wands of Empowered Fireball.

Yes Heightened actualy changes the spell lvl (as part of the Feat).

Non of the other meta-magic feats do that.

You cast a Empowered, Maximised Fireball and the save DC is still 10+3+INT/CHR even though it takes a 6th lvl spell slot.

Fiiiine. A wand of Empowered Acid Arrow then.

And Nifft, maybe that's not the best example (Heightened) since that meta-magic feat works a little differently than the others.

But back to the topic at hand. Sorry for the hi-jack.

Hmmm is that new?

I know that heighten actualy changes the spells lvl but the other meta-magic feats do not.
