I'll always have the Star Wars episode with Mark Hammil and R2 and C3PO as my favorite. I also remember they did a Devil Went Down to Georgia skit that is etched in my memory. The Alice Cooper one was very cool too.

Can't wait for this!

True. But the "Best Of" is not the entire season. I want to see everything not just a few select episodes and now I can!

That's also true, but "Best of the Muppets" was better than NO Muppets at all. I think this better too, but the other DVDs were nice to watch while we waited for seasons to come out.... which I'm pretty sure most of us knew would happen eventually.

Holy crap. I remember Phyllis Diller, Harvey Korman and Vincent Price. Remember Lynda Carter? Peter Sellers? James Coburn?

Sigh. What a BRILLIANT fricking show. We lost a lot when we lost Mr. Henson.

Oh god. The Vincent Price episode really freaked me out when I was six. The one monster singing "I've Got You Under My Skin" while eating someone... disturbing.

THe muppet show at times was a lot more grown up then people seem to remeber. There were a few songs that had a double meaning.
