Personally I like "Blood Milk and Sky" from White Zombie's Astro Creep album. I think it sets the mood extremely well. It has a sinister edge and grabs you with the rhythm and chanting.

It isn't a capella and Rob Zombie certainly isn't female (though the chanting could be) but I think the theme and mood are more important anyway.

Damn... now I really need to hear that song but I left my iPod at home. :(

I was thinking of using some music at the table to emulate a harpy's captivating song? Any suggestions? Something female and a capella, I would guess, so that rules out Metallica...

Thanks

The haunting track from the movie Excalibur whenever the Grail is revealed or the Lady of the Lake returns the sword to Arthur whenever he shatters it against Lancelot's armor.

Fifth Element's alien singer chick. Get the soundtrack. Use her performance song.
First thing I thought of as well. Inva Mula (listed on the soundtrack as Inva Mulla Tchako) - "Lucia di Lammermoor" and "The Diva Dance" (they flow into each other, but are separate tracks).

I should get the soundtrack myself... :uhoh:
