My mother reads ENWorld.

Apparently she's only read the boards here a couple of times. The "name 5 things that you've done that others probably have not thread" got her interested in it, since they were over at my house when I responded to it (I think I even added her list while I was there). She assumed, I think, that the place was meant as a general message board for just anyone, not knowing that it's primary intent was as a d20 forum.

I told her about this thread, though. We'll see if she drops by.

Did you try killing her, and taking her stuff? :D

I'm sure she'll appreciate that one if she reads your posts!

Maybe you could change your avatar, and go back to DIE Kluge. She'll never find you!

Not only does my mother not read these boards, when I showed her my first article in Dragon she said "oh the art is pretty." I don't think she "gets" gaming. When my first adventure comes out (soon, as in any minute now, just one little thing waiting from Green Ronin) I plan on trying to get the family to play it.

Maybe then she will start reading these boards.

But I can just guess the questions THAT would engender. So maybe I wont mention them. :)

Your mother is electronic!?!?

Gotta get me one of those...

:p
Then, you'll probbaly need to get a smart house. Katey Sagal played the role of an 'electronic' (A.I.) mom obsessed with cloistering the family that lived within her in the movie Smart House.

My mom probably doesn't read EN World very often, but she can usually get her computer to turn on without help, and she can usually even go online by herself. Sometimes, when she goes online, she reads my sister's blog, which, from what I understand has some uncomplementary things to say about her right now. My mother is visiting my sister in KC, Missourri, right now. Poor sister.

It's very cool, der kluge, that your mother takes an interest in what you do, particularly if she's not a gamer.
