My mother in law used to MUD with me and my wife (GF at the time).
It was mostly a social MUD and she only bothered to kill enough things to reach 4th level. vs my 23rd and wifes 18.
she was a voice of reason in some discussions, and she knew many of my wifes friends in the RW who used the MUD to keep in touch while at differernt collages.

She is an avid Fantasy reader, and we have a rolling book exchange. But I doubt she knows or would care about Enworld. Although she might like the books, tv and movies forum. and she would have liked the buffy/angel survivor threads.

I always try to post as though my grandma were reading (or my mom, or my current boss, or a future boss -- this stuff is all available to the public). And not just here, anywhere I go. But as far as I know, none of them do actually read the forum.

My Mom isn't any gaming. I guess she has only read this place a couple of times, thinking that it was more of a general-interest kind of place. Maybe I should hook her up with a more general-interest place that she might enjoy. Anyone have any suggestions? Ivillage still around?

Aside from that, she just likes peaking in on others' lives. She bought one of those radio scanners to listen to people's phone conversations.

She didn't; she named him die. He changed it later to not appear too girly.

i've got 4 great nephews.

I've got five, and two great nieces with two more on the way. But I'm sure everyone's nephews and nieces are great, to them at least.
