My family refers to the bathroom as the "library" because the guys usually read while in there and we tend to keep books and magazines there for convenience.

So I'm off to do my thing and I have a stack of magazines under my arm. Just as I am going in, my wife walks by.

Right then, a thought occurred to me. We just looked at a home for sale where the owner had his girley magazines in a basket next to the toilet. Yet, here I am going in with my Dragon magazines. So I told her, "Would you rather them be Playboys?"

It's moments like these when I really feel like a dork for playing D&D.

Hah, it actually was moved to the media lounge.

She is used to me always reading my D&D material (not just in the library). So she just laughed at me and didn't say much. But as a husband, I think I'm being more respectful being geeky than being a perv. I'm sure she's grateful for that.

But I'm hoping it means something to her that I'd rather look at drawings of dragons and read about their ecology while I'm in the bathroom instead of looking at a hot blond and reading about her ecology.
