Due to health problems of the 2 people who ran it, MEG is as dead as a doornail. Hopefully in the future either they have raise dead cast or some other company buys their lines and continue with them.

I have to add that their were financial woes as well. But if their Foul Locales or Dragonstar lines get picked up, then I hope that publisher looks for the authors that were previously involved. ;)

Isn't Dragonstar an FFG line?

MEG apparently had a limited license to produce three DS adventures. The first two--Raw Recruits and Heart of the Machine--made it to print. But the third, Veterans, didn't quite make it. Cover art was produced (and posted probably in the spring of '03 right here in this forum), the writing was all but complete, and everything seemed alright but then the company meltdown ocurred. It's really a shame not only to the DS fans but to the MEG fans as well. There were some promising things coming down the pike, but alas.

I was really looking forward to Veterans. I quite liked Raw Recuits.

I remember your review, Jeremy. I think you liked my adventure the best (creepy-looking aliens and all!). :D Vets was going to be in the same vein--a four-part mega-adventure centered around a city with gratuitous sidebars for using the Evarstanza.
