Names - What are the best you've used or heard?

Crunch - Not my character, but memorable, none-the-less. Pretty typical dumb barbarian with good leadership abilities. I like the name because, whatever other people's experience, I've rarely seen names like this on characters. Oh, and I have to mention Crunch to mention his intelligent sword named:

Sword (no silent letters) -- Intelligent +4 defender bastard sword. Has a 17 intelligence and is utterly fearless -- a trait learned from its first wielder, Crunch. Another, related, trait learned at the same time is the habit of chanting, when bored, "DemogorgonDemogorgonDemogorgonDemogorgon" in hopes that the demon prince would hear his name and come to investigate. Because this was a very real possibility, it was usually best to keep Sword amused.

Ahhh I was disappointed that he wasn't promoted to captain... :D

Escarion Latemratt, wildelf jack of all trades... Scarron is the short version. My crazy favorite char.
Darius ti Lorne, go figure where Darklone came from.
Blodderick "Cloak" Nibblenock. Generic.
Lafshan Morlenner, cleric.
Melekit Far'Po, cleric.

Grivala, capital city in a campaign world.
Menelone, another city on the west coast.

Ellios Bitsbury "Bix" Theofile - Bard 5/Sor 2

Bix is a Chaotic Good human (with a streak of celestial blood) who has a penchant for getting himself into trouble. He thinks he is a better fighter than he is (and has lost 2 levels as a result of entering combat with a wight, then failing his saves), thinks he is a better spellcaster than he is, and is very suave with the ladies (including his own party members, who are getting tired of his constant flirting). He is in possession of a magical longsword (the most powerful item the party has found yet) that he doesn't have proficiency in, as a result of picking it up when everyone else passed it over (he detected that it was magic, but didn't tell anyone else). This has in turn made several other party members openly critical and (understandably) untrusting of him. Bix is good at coming through in a pinch, and would give his life for his friends, even those that he knows don't particularly care for him or his antics.

There was someone on a work-related mailing list called "Padma Illindra", which struck me as the BESTEST JEDI NAME EVAR. Apparently it's Indian, but then a lot of the BESTEST JEDI NAMES EVAR seem to have that vaguely Asian/Indian sound to them. Goes with the vaguely Asian/Indian nature of the Jedi and the Force, I guess.

Y'know, Crunch was created and played in about 1985, so he's a pretty old PC. Still, I'm pretty sure this is the first time anyone has ever made that referrence. It actually took me a second to figure out what you were getting at.

Wierd.
