I'm one of your minions? :eek:

Then it is my honour to be offering you this blessed Kool-Aid, yes?

AtR

Alex 3:16 - And he looked upon the blessed Kool-aid, and saw that it was good... and he said, "truly, the punch shall inherit the earth"...

You speak verily. For as such, I bless you to wander in the wilderness of forgiveness for half an eternity with fruits and bunnies when others plumb the depths of the caverns of Man, Does God Hate You.

By the way, will you be needing your minion for anything else this evening? I have a session planned with heathens and firey swords.

Go, slay heathens with the firey swords. Have fun.

I've hyped you up big time, Jeff - these folks are looking for an awesome Feng Shui game, since you were, like, the person who taught me, and stuff.

But no pressure. :D

I remember Jim Jones, and will be partaking of none of thine Blessed Kool-Aid.

Thinking about Jonestown, I've always had this image of a demonic Kool-Aid Man pouring punch for everyone in a line, while saying, "Oh Yeah!" with a lusty evil in his voice..... ;)

Sweet. Players. :cool:

I'm going to be making six pre-gens for the game; four will become players and the other two some of the major NPCs. To wit (and repost from earlier in the thread):

It's been two decades since the end of the border wars with the mysterious, bug-like Arthraxans. The backwater military base on the swamp-moon of Verdant has barely been sustained since then, and hasn't seen any action in months. Even that was just a lightly armed rogue smuggler. High Command has determined that the outpost's cost of operation outweighs its usefulness, and has scheduled a full shut down in one week's time. But when the Arthraxans decide to start kicking up mud thought to be buried 20 years ago, that's not the only decision that will need to be reconsidered...

Take on the role of:

Captain Tobias Flint, lantern-jawed administrator of the Verdant outpost and grizzled veteran of the Border Wars;

Pegasus Flint, fledgeling psychic with lots of promise and a thirst for adventure (also daughter of the capable Captain);

Kresh X-xk!r, Arthraxan genetically modified and cybernetically enhanced supersoldier who defected to the humans when he saw what his race was capable of;

Thomas Lloyd, resident two-fisted scientist of Veridity Station, expert on Arthraxan physiology and hive-think, and closest human acquaintance of X-xk!r;

Shark Tracey, dashing young smuggler with an eye on Pegasus who has been sitting in a holding cell for most of the past month, watching his ship gather rust; or

Brother Malcolm, wizened old (kung-fu badass) monk from a far away and long since abandoned monastery, currently acting as Pegasus' mentor and proferrer of inane advice to Captain Flint.

Stake your claims, kiddos. :D

Why does the NC Gameday website show games as being with 12/5 or 30/6 players? Am I just missing something?

Where exactly are you seeing this?

Also, as a general note, I'm about to leave town for the weekend. If any emergencies come up, try to contact Neal. He's been slammed with work lately but I'm sure he'll help you if he can.

Also, why is there always a hurricane when I want to go on vacation? It's because God hates me, isn't it? I should have know that when he put me in charge of NC Game Day, shouldn't I? ;)

God doesn't hate you, he just lets the world have its way with you. This way, afterlife compares well.

Have a fun, good, and safe vacation! :D
