Frosty pounds the badger! (Rolled natural 20, 9 crit roll) 4 points of damage! The badger has 2 hp left.

Round 24:

The badger flies into a rage, but wildly misses! Rolled (14, 13, & 10)

Frosty hits again! (Rolled 17) 5 points of damage! The enraged badger has -1 hp and is dying!

Round 25:

The badger is defeated!

A house cat-sized, harmless looking beetle with an amethyst-colored shell 'runs' to 55N80E.

Frosty does a small victory dance and cheers out to the crowd. He whirls to face his opponent, expecting to finally fight something tough, like a bear or something, only to discover that his enemy is a tiny blue bug. He makes a sort of guffaw-snort and runs to the creature. As he nears it, he catches sight of its beautifully patterned shell - and throws up a little in his mouth.

Charge at the beetle.

Frosty charges to 55N75E and misses! (Rolled 5+2 for charge = 7)

Round 26:

The scarab crawls into Frosty's square. Frosty hits with AoO! (Rolled 21) 4 points of damage! The scarab has 0 hp and is disabled!

The scarab tries to get revenge but misses! (Rolled 5) It is now at -1 hp and dying!

Frosty has a chance to postion himself before a new opponent appears.

Frosty sprints over to the location of the javelin that he threw earlier and picks it up (assuming it's not broken). If it is broken, Frosty moves back to 55N70E.

Round 27: The scarab is defeated!

A medium sized, naked humanoid with smooth, indistinct features and a mirror-like sheen enters the arena. He wields a longsword in one hand and a dagger in the other. Both weapons look like they were made from shards of reflective glass.

He moves to 55N90E and suddenly there appears to be eight images of him, shifting and moving within the same square.

Frosty starts for a moment at the sudden appearance of 7 additional foes, but then clenches his sizeable jaw and mutters a quick prayer to whatever god happens to be listening. Raising his morningstar, he grimly rushes in to begin the slaughter.

Charging in to attack one. Can he make a saving throw to disbelieve it? I mean, if he's never heard of a guy splitting into pieces, he'd think it's...unbelievable.
