Now I know something about Sow-Crates. I also can assume he has perfect maneuverability, given his 5-foot step upwards.

Round 610

The tree shuffles forward to 60N45N.

Yes, perfect maneuverability. Do you need the rest of the stats? I assumed you had them. :)

Sow-Crates summons 1d3 small monstrous scorpions (summon monster II), located in order of preference: 65n35e, 60n35e, 70n35e. As they appear, each will step forward to the east and attack (likely futilely). Sow-Crates then casts protection from arrows (why not?) and flies to 65n50e30z (going up diagonally first).

I do not have the book, and I was not sent the stats. I was faking it until the two combatants could actually affect each other.

The scorpions appear at 65n35e and 60n35e, and step forward to 65N40E and 60N40E. One of the scorpions actually hits with a claw (natural 20), but the other five attacks miss (best roll 20). The tree takes 1 point of damage. It has 66 HP remaining.

Round 611

The tree whips each scorpion with two tentacles, inflicting much more damage than either can take, and making them both disappear.

Let's make this easy, then. Unless the tree can see invisible, Sow-Crates thinks better of a direct approach and merely floats upwards to 65n55e90z, and then to 115z and waits out the draw. That tree could rip him apart easily and he doesn't look like he's fighting with arrows.

OOC: No, why do you ask? :)

A draw is declared at the end of round 615.

Round 616

A presumably large statue made out of ice enters the arena, walking to 60N90E, or thereabouts.

Next in round 616 for Neutral Evil is a canisphinx (Sandstorm).

The Neutral creature is from Frostburn, so I might not be able to do much for a while in this battle.

Well, now, I think you know why. :)

And something called a prismatic roper is only CR9? That's incredible. It must be significantly weaker than a roper with the pristmatic stuff, right? No, honest, I didn't look up the monster at all, I just assumed it was CR12 or higher and you didn't update in a while. I see it was the monster to be updated at CR9. Bizarre coincidence, nothing more.

I could help, but I need to know what it is and I will send you the stats (for both). I could guess, I suppose, but the ice statue sounds suspiciously like a paraelemental. ;)
