My fav 4th & 5th level spells w/my Pale Master:

Baleful Polymorph - got a dragon with that LOL
Waves of Fatigue - my PM excels at sapping the enemy's ability to fight effectively
Magic Jar - can be hard to pull off, and somewhat risky, but when it works it's gold
Wall of Force
Hold Monster
Feeblemind - damn I hate when that spell is cast on me LOL
Dominate Person
Teleport
Dismissal
Break Enchantment
Polymorph
Enlarge Person, Mass
Enervation
Bestow Curse
Phantasmal Killer
Crushing Despair
Charm Monster
Dimension Door
Stoneskin

And those are just standard spells... I'm at work so I can't tell you what all else I have. I know I looooove Choke from T&B just for theatrical effect. Go Vader :]

I have: Baleful polymorph, Magic Jar, Teleport, Polymorph...

My opposed schools are Enchantment and Abjuration. (Looking back, I shoulda dropped Evocation instead of Abjuration, but I love Abjuration and wanted to try playing a wizard without the crutch of all those spells). Character is made and in play, but I am allowed a couple more spells in addition to what I have now.

Ah oh well, it's got a few nice necro spells. Really in combat I am usually Exhausting, Enfeebling, and Enervating the enemy. For big battles I will summon some undead ASAP, after improved invis on me & stoneskin on the melee-type. Waves of Fatigue/Waves of Exhaustion rock. If someone gets too close I sometimes bust out those nasty PM touch attacks w/the undead graft.

I'm lucky, I have a forgiving DM. I made my PM a specialist Necro wizard back when you only had to give up 1 school. When we converted to 3.5 he allowed me to revoke my specialization, because honestly I couldn't think of another school I could do without. I had already given up enchantment, but now I have it and I am loving it.

I am loving my Necro/PM, Tons of fun. We are fighting more single target nasties than multiple weaker foes. I am leading with Kiss of the Vamp from Libris Mortis, to make myself basically unkillable, and then moving into either dominates or vampiric touch. I also use Darkness/Deeper Darkness and Hellish Sight or Devil's Eyes or whatever its called from the BoVD to set up impossible to win fights for the enemy. I just feel like there is some sneaky stuff I might be missing. Maybe I already have all the good stuff.

Be careful with that Kiss of the Vampire... a nasty DM can use your temporarily-undead status against you. The only time I have used that spell is once when we fought a Shadesteel Golem... hehehe poor bastard just kept healing me.

Well, I am tomb tainted, so no heal spells will be cast on me anyway, and there are no clerics in the world, so no turning is gonna happen ;)

LMAO That's just wrong... a Pale Master in a world devoid of clerics. What's to stop you? The gods themselves I suppose

My character wants to supplant the god of death in our game. I am 5 wiz/9 Pale Master right now. After 10th level PM I am going to take 3 levels of cleric and then go into True Necromancer. I can't wait. :]

Hehe, yeah, I know. There are no Gods, either. The world is based on The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, so there is "The Creator" and Lord Foul, and thats it. The Creator doesnt grant spells/anything else, and Lord Foul doesnt either, but Lord Foul is certainly the BBEG.

Whats to stop me? Muahahahahaha.
