Necromancer Q&A: Let's ask Orcus some questions!

As for Rick, his covers are unbelievable. I've seen a mock up for it. We are really really lucky to have him basically comitted to doing most of our adventure covers. The dude is a stud.

Have you seen the Mesopotamia cover? By the way, that book rocks. It was flying out the door at GenCon. And while I like all our books there are a few that kind of floor me, where the content and the art and the layout and the maps and the printing and everything all come together totally top notch. I think Meso is one of those books. Check it out at the store. The content floored me when I read the draft. It was hillarious. Bill emails me "man, you gotta see this submission." Now Bill tends to overstate things so I said "yeah yeah sure sure, send it to me." He was right. The content is sooooo cool. If you are a serious Robert E Howard Conan fan and like some Cthulhu mixed in for good measure, this thing is right up your alley.

Yes, Mesopotamia is great! I had no intention of doing something based in Mesopotamia, I bought it because it was Necro and had adventures inside. Now I have added a mesopotamian area to my WL campaign and have already put out hooks to take my players there. The ToH 3.5 revisions were a very nice bonus too.

Are you saying there are 3.5 revisions for ToH in Mesopotamia?

If it's like other modules, probably not, but Necromancer modules often use creatures from ToH so if they're in here, they're probably updated for 3.5.

Some questions:

3) As Necromancer Games seems to be getting more and more into "Mini Campaigns" (that actually rocked, I´ve been thru VoLK, Grey Citadel, and Durbenford lately), is there any chance to see a follow-up campaign for an existing one? Any chance for a "Return to the vault of Larin Karr" or anything like that?

Oh yeah.. Return to the Vault of Larin Karr would be a great one. The group I play with just finished VoLK, after almost 7 months of playing. Figure 120 or so hours of game time. Definitely got a thumbs up from all the players.

Yep. The ToH 1 monsters that appear in the Meso- book have been updated to 3.5 (and they are the ones that will appear in whatever ToH 3.5 update we end up doing as well).

I know this product isn't anymore on the upcoming schedule but.... any chance of seeing Sword of Air as a standalone product or included in a larger book (since it was supposed to be a small 32-pages modules) ?

You have been teasing us about this one in Demons & Devils or Tomb of Abysthor IIRC...

Actually, Bill is working on Sword of Air right now. He and I both said we wanted to take a little break from development and producing and get back to writing. So he is doing Sword of Air.
