Need a spell list critique

Hey guys,

I know it's been a while (thread necromancy for the win) but we're getting ready to start this game this weekend, and I wanted you all to have one last shot at my spell list.

1: Benign Transposition, Charm Person, Distract Assailant, Magic Missile, Serene Visage
2: Addiction, Command Undead, Glitterdust, See Invisibility
3: Dispel Magic, Slow, Suggestion
4: Charm Monster, Ruin Delver's Fortune
5: Greater Blink OR Magic Jar

The one I can hear you all going "WTF?" about is "Distract Assailant". We have an assassin and a blackguard in the party, so being able to give them a chance to sneak attack seems worthwhile.

So, I'm playing an Enchantery type, level 12 (caster level 10, +2 on Enchantment). DCs are 10+Spell Level+17 (+2 on Enchantment).

whats the other +15 coming from? do you have a chrisma out the wang?

Having both See Invisibility and Glitterdust smacks of paranoia, as you're basically expending two known spell slots to cover the same problem. That said, if you're really worried about invisible critters, it might be worth it.

Drop See Invisible, and get a Bat familiar; the familiar has Blindsense-20 (or whatever - haven't checked recently), and can thus tell you if something meaningful is nearby; as a Sor-6 for familiar purposes, he's got Speak With Master, and can tell you exactly where the invisible thing is for hitting with Glitterdust... provided it's within blindsense range.

Also makes a great night watchman - barring feats from assorted books, you can't Hide from Blindsense (incorporeality or etherealness bypasses it, though....), so the bat will always know if anyone's in range.

One spell that seems like it would fit the character well is Voice of the Dragon (SC). Drop Suggestion for it (since you were using a 4th-level slot for that). It gives you +10 on Bluff/Diplomacy/Intimidate for 10 mins/level, and it comes with a free Suggestion.

Edit: Oops, this was already thoroughly covered -- somehow I read partway through the thread (without seeing it) and thought I was at the bottom.

You're right, of course. I'll keep Glitterdust and get some scrolls of See Invisibility.

Of course, I have no ideas for what to replace it with...

Melf's Acid Arrow would be a decent Core choice, for when you want to hurt something with SR, as would Rope Trick (useful for getting the entire party up a wall, or camping relatively safely whenever you feel like it), or Invisibility (useful for lots of things - do remember, it can affect objects - you know, like that door whith guards on the other side; tell me, what happens when you Charge into a door to take out the wimpy spellcaster?)
