Need an interesting barbarian idea

Just thinking...

Halfling Barbarian from the Talenta Plains.

Named Fenton "Kneebiter" Hollyhock, armed with a shortspear...

Complete with dinosaur mount.

Named Dino! (Bar-rar-rar-rar-ROW!)

I'd love to share campaign space with that PC and my (un-named, masked) Gnome Ranger who rides a Giant Space Hamster named Mithril...

There's some great ideas here ... thanks guys.

I had an idea for a barbarian/scout mix that would wear light armor, and make heavy use of his extra movement (+20') and the tumble skill, but I realized that you can't tumble while raging. :(

if you want a barbarian that can move faster than normal for his class, go for a longstrider shifter barbarian or Bar/sct now THAT is Fast.

I played a barbarian that took the Mage Slayer feat from Complete Arcane. He was from a tribe of barbarians that had been saved from destruction by a mysterious figure who trained them to fight spellcasters. The feat has easy prereqs to get one of which being Spellcraft. I kept putting ranks into Spellcraft and it was funny when an enemy spellcaster would begin to cast and all the spellcasters would call out that they were trying to Spellcraft the spell. And then there was me, the barbarian doing the same thing. I always thought that was humorous. Also, I took the Instantaneous Rage feat from CW so I could rage exactly when I needed to.

This was the barbarian I wanted to play:

A fairly normal guy who is posessed by a demon.

Rage represents the demon taking over, laying waste to his enemies and reveling in the bloodletting. Even when not in charge, it occasionaly whispers guidance to the character - for the uncanny dodge and trap senses. The demon also enhances him - fast movement, bucket o hit points, high character stats...

Quite how the character deals with this is a good question! Does he even remember what happened while raging? Has he reached a deal with his demon? Is he just a bit touched in the head?

Mechanically, I'd just learn to read and take skills I'd expect... My thought was to have him as a former militiaman - exiled from his home town after someone witnessed him tearing suspects to bits.

Figured it'd be some fun.

Edit: The law/chaos angle of these 2 could be fun. Perhaps the character is quite orderly and the demon chaotic. For bonus points, the posessor is a devil - when 'raging' it goes into an focused, efficient and intense 'lawful' killing spree. Conflicts with the characters basically chaotic nature...
