Need DM advice or help

he knew they were coming?

Foresight. Druid 9, Knowledge 9.

thats exactly the type story line ruining focus shifting escalation im trying to avoid.

"story line ruining focus shifting"? The DM should never nerf the players to preserve his precious "storyline," IMO. Storylines aren't created by DMs, they happen when PCs do things. The storyline should never be planned in advance, except in the most general terms.

BTW we just transformed his nice city into Sodom and Gamorah just like i said we'd do.

Cool! That's what high-level characters do -- break things. :)

they ARE weirdos. Ok now thanks for the example. so the party knows that this arch chansellor is guilty right? we plane shift to mechanus and entreat as many inevitables as we can to go hunt him down for his transgressions.
Why do the inevitables believe the party? Inevitables are lawful right? So they will tell the rightful king that his archchancellor is a murderer and the king will ask for proof. The king will not appreciate outsiders trying to run his kingdom. (And my kings are generally high level, with few if any levels in aristocrat.)

Or the inevitables look into the AC and find he is working with devils. LNs and LEs have no real reason to fight one another. Who says the murder would even be considered a transgression in the eyes of the inevs? I never said the victim was LG.

If you don't like any of that, do they just happen to have a tuning fork to mechanus or do they need to buy/acquire one? Perhaps this is how the AC finds out about their planned jaunt to mechanus. Time for him to enlist his friends in low places to frame the PCs for the murder.

Your turn. :)

Ok,, one last thing.
Barkskin powers amulet of natural armor.
Everyone was telling me that natural armor dosent stack with the druid using the spell shapechange. But in the description of the spell "barkskin" it says that it does stack. So does the amulet of natural armor stack or does it not???

The amulet would stack. It provides an Enhancement to Natural Armor, just like the Barkskin spell.

What wouldn't stack is two Natural Armor bonuses ...

EDIT:

... or two Enhancement to Natural Armor bonuses.

Dmg p21 : Natural armor doesn't stack.

Yeah some spell to enhancement this not the same.

Here are a couple of off the wall ideas that usually pop into my head.

1) Try having a classed monsted fling a container of Sovereign Glue into his mouth.
2) What about having the PC lose his memory at some point, either by having it erased by magical means or by having the PC fall off of a ledge or something and knock his head. This way he could forget that he ever met a Gold Dragon.
3) Award the other PCs full exp for killing him in Dragon form.

Just quick ideas is all.
