Need Feat Suggestions for 7th Monk/8th Ninja

Nightfall

Sage of the Scarred Lands
I'm already planning on taking the feat Ascetic Stalker so my monk abilities and ninja abilities stack.

My scores are as follows:

Str 14
Dex 16
Con 12
Int 10
Wis 16
Cha 14

I can move a few of these scores around if you think I should.

So give me some feats please! :)

I'm away from my books right now, but are any of the Ninja abilites Charisma-based? If not, I'd swap Int and Cha around as you can't ever complain with more skill points.

Is Ascetic Stalker one of those new Complete Scoundrel feats? I've never heard of it.

Have you chosen any other feats yet?

What sources do you have access to?

Would you prefer ranged or melee?

Most of Ninja's abilities come from Wisdom (ie for his Ki pool).

Might just do that. I had wanted him to be striking....but considering he IS a ninja. *shrugs*

Yes

No.

Every WotC source and plenty of d20 as well.

Haven't made up my mind...but probably a mixture of light melee with ranged abilities where necessary.

Yeah, you're a ninja, so it doesn't matter what your charisma score is, you're drop dead gorgeous!

However, I just noticed how low your Con is. I retract my previous suggestion and instead suggest 14 Con 12 Int and 10 Cha.

Well, then I'll just toss some ideas at you and see what sounds good.

Improved Natural Attack (MM) is a given for any unarmed combatant.
Staggering Strike (CAdv) is an excellent method of robbing your opponent of full-attacks or other full-round actions.
Elusive Target (CW) is an amazing [tactical] feat that will save your hide from any Power Attacking bruiser.
Telling Blow (PHb II) is a great feat if you're utilizing a high-crit range weapon.
Craven (CoR) nets you some additional bonus damage (= to character level) on all Sudden Strikes.

Finally, does your DM rule that Ghost Step functions as per Invisibility or Improved Invisibility?

Elusive Target does sound nice. What I was thinking was a guy that strikes a lot from surprise, fights when necessary but generally attacks from a far on occasion.

I was thinking of taking an Exotic Weapon Proficency to use Bastard sword...but meh. Is a scythe considered a good crit range weapon?

You really can't go wrong with Improved Feint to get your foes flat-footed when you don't want to burn a Ghost Step. It runs off of bluff, though, so is charisma-based. Two-Weapon Fighting is another good thought, or Spectral Skirmisher from the PHB2, which gives you some bonuses to fighting while invisible. You might also look at Shadow Striker, a tactical feat from the PHB2.

Mongoose,

Sokay I have Bluff as a Class skill. I might need to pump a lot of points but meh.

I'll see if Spectral Skirmisher and/or Shadow Striker might be a viable option for me.

Scythes have a good crit multiplier, but not a good crit range. The rapier has the best crit range in Core (18-20).

Stay away from the bastard sword unless you're planning on taking the Shou Disciple Prc. SD will let you flurry with a martial weapon. There's also a feat somewhere that does something similar, but I have no idea where or what.
