Need help making a good arcane archer

So i am trying to figure out how to make a decent 15 lvl arcane archer that has potent magic but can still hit hard with the bow. here are the stats:

I have one now that is set up mainly for fighting 9/1/5 fighter/wiz/AA, but he sucks when it comes to fighting magic users and using magic himself. I anyone has any opinons on how to make one that is good magically and physically that would be much appreciated thanks.

Another option is the Eldritch Knight PrC.

Basically anything that has a bow and does not include the Arcane Archer PrC.

Well, for an AA build ... Hexblade(5)/Arcane Archer(10). Magic comes out somewhat underpowered since Hexblade is a "Secondary" 'caster, the way Paladins and Rangers are - but the combat side is quite decent, and Hexblade(5) gives some other neat bennies besides spellcasting. After AA(10), you go back to Hexblade and build your spellcasting up a bit, as well as your hexing abilities.

The arcane archer would be nice, if it added at least +1 caster level every other level on top of what it gives now.
