Neo-inspired class needes tweaking

hey man, i didn't mean to burst your bubble here, i was just suggesting for suggetions sake. I like your class concept, but there are many, glaring, balance issues at stake. It was just in my opinion that this is truely more appropriate as a template - but don't let that hold you back or bring you down. It's a neat concept, so i say go with it. Also though, when you post on EN World, you gotta realsie that most have a better-than-average idea of game balance - so when they say "yeah, this is over-powered", it probably is. Since I don't do any d20 modern games, or such, i'll leave it at this. good luck with balancing your class, and may your d20's always roll a crit.

Cheers

What does Gestalt mean anyways? I named a character in my novel Gestalt because I remembered the word from somewhere and couldn't remember where it came from... but what does it mean? Also, I wasn't being mean (or trying to anyways) Any insults Kapalen took I apologize for [they made me... j/k] But seriously, when I posted a character up here once, everyone though it sucked, it takes some work and application to get it right, you know?

Gestalt is something from Unearthed Arcana. It's like multiclassing but you get the best features of both classes instead of leveling one at a time. I've done a little more work on this class but haven't actually edited it on here.

A physical, biological, psychological, or symbolic configuration or pattern of elements so unified as a whole that its properties cannot be derived from a simple summation of its parts.

Oh, and what Kapalen said.

The class does have the spirit of Neo, at least. Out of curiosity though, is it supposed to be used only once and discarded? I mean, having multiple Chosen Ones just sounds...not right.

Thanks for the textbook definition Moon, anyways, I also agree with Dog_Moon. Maybe change the name, then it can be used multiple times. But yeah... we're trying to help...
