Net & Trident Fighting Style.

Any idea how to pull Net & Trident fighting off. Is it possible to make a decent fighter build using this?

I looked at this briefly with 3.0, and it would work ok with a fighter or ranger with two-weapon fighting. Weapon focus and specialization would be options too, and perhaps a PrC could be built out of it to eliminate attack penalties for being unfolded, etc.
As a net is ranged, it can be used one-handed.

Always remember: The trident is one of the most multifunctional weapons around. You can throw it, set it against a charge, use it twohanded...

Try to use your net to entangle someone, tie the net to something and take care of his buddies while he's busy to get out.
