5. Can you change Alignment? I started a new Dwarf Fighter, thinking I'd make him a Dwarven Defender when he got to 8th level, but I noticed I made him Neutral instead of a Lawful alignment. Is there anyway to change this? A cheat, or doing things in game maybe? If not I'm going to have to start over.
LETO is a utility that lets you edit characters in just about any way.

For good modules, I'd recommend this list highly: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.HOF

The Adam Miller Shadowlords/Dreamcatcher series is particularly highly regarded.

Since I'm contractually prohibited from leaving a NWN thread alone, I'd note that LETO is da bomb, as others have said. Also, as I recall, the OC, while not having as deep a story as SoU or HotU, is strongly multiplayer supported, and you can play through it with a few friends and have a good time that way.

The Premium modules are just like the fan modules except that they're made by Bioware, and there's a small fee. On one hand, paying for modules is teh suk. On the other hand, they are generally very strong modules with good writing and a lot of new content, while the fan content ranges from "Dang, why isn't this guy working for Bioware?" to "How in the name of Ao is this garbage in the Neverwinter Vault Hall of Fame?" I highly recommend Adam Miller's stuff -- Dreamcatcher and Shadowlords.

The only negative so far in the SoU campaign I'm playing is only having one companion. I prefer a full party as in BG and most other CRPGS. And I think the designers have a misconception about D&D. Since when is tomb looting an evil act? ;) Other than that it's great, I've been able to run it at 1600x1200 with max anti-aliasing with no slowdowns and problems so far. It did crash once for no reason but I haven't found any major screwups or bugs so far.

Haven't tried the multiplayer. Do servers have worlds to explore without an overall plot? Do some just run modules? How is that setup?

Rackhir: Definite yes on the Mighty Bows. Are you playing the OC or Shadows of Undrentide? I don't remember where you start finding them in the OC, but I found a nice +1 Longbow (Mighty +4) in chapter 2 of Shadows of Undrentide, and in Hordes of the Underdark, just about any bow you find is Mighty to some degree (and you can take a normal bow and have it modified to be up to Mighty +10 (ie, capable of dealing full Strength bonus when shot by a guy with a 30 Strength), expensive though it is...).

Flexor: Hah! I remember taking the alignment hit for looting and thinking, "Oh, thank the gods! A game finally gave me a reason to not loot the ancient crypt!" I never really liked doing it, but since having the resources I found in there was part of the assumed power level I'd be at, I didn't feel like I had a choice.

And yeah, having only one henchman is a bit of a bummer. In Hordes, you can have 2, and the commands you can give are more complex as well.

Rackhir: There are mighty bows but don't ask me where. Certainly the toolset lets you make them, so I imagine they turn up in the game from time to time.

Flexor, some people run persistent world servers but I haven't delved into these for a couple of years and couldn't tell you much about them, except to say that some are highly scripted and some aren't. (I could have sworn EN World used to have a pw server and its own sub-forum.) NWVault and BioWare's own sites will have pointers for you, I'm sure.

Frankly though, I think using NWN to run a pw is a mistake or at least it's not playing to the game's greatest strength, which is to have a DM and players use it to run an on-going, episodic campaign.
