New 4E ad causing problems

The 4E ad on the right side of the screen is both overrunning its borders and squishing the rest of the page into a narrower form than usual.

(For the record, I'm running Firefox.)

Fixed, at least for 1024x768. If you are still using an 800x600 resolution then I'm sorry but lowering the form widths any more makes the higher resolution layouts look silly.

I'm using 1024x768. And while it's not running over its borders anymore, it's still compressed everything else to narrower than it used to be.

This may just be me but that right side banner took all of 30 seconds to start bugging the hell out of me. It's huge and very distracting while trying to read.

What really makes things odd is when you scroll down past the banner...its just a bunch of blank space that feels like its compressing the forums even more.

Well yeah, to keep it from spilling over I had to compress it for everybody.

In a couple days I'll add the code that allows community supporters to disable the ads. Those of you who have a community supporter account have no right to complain in my opinion - the display of that ad is how this site pays its bills.

Why do we now have a sidebar ad at all, anyway? Is there a format that turns it off?
