New feat, what do you think?

Legend
Varzesh-e-Pahlavani
Having studied the national martial art of Ayeer at the Zoorkhaneh (“House of Strength”), you excel at unarmed combat. The principle tenets of Varzesh-e-Pahlavani are strengthening one’s body and mind so that one may better serve his or her countrymen when they are in need. It is built around ritualized wrestling done to the beat of a drum, accompanied by various forms of meditation and exercise. With many former students turning to thievery, the school more closely selects who is taught this ancient and sacred art.
Prerequisites: Dodge, Improved Unarmed Strike, Knowledge (Religion) 2 ranks, Str 15+, Must follow the Warrior’s Code (see below).
Benefit: You inflict a critical hit on a natural 20 when fighting unarmed. In addition, you may attempt one of the following maneuvers each round.
1. Enter Grapple: When you make a successful melee attack unarmed, you may automatically enter into a grapple instead of inflicting damage. Effectively, you skip the grab stage and move right into the hold stage, though you don’t inflict any damage from the hold initially (as this was done as part of the attack).
2. Prone Fighting: If you’ve been knocked prone, you continue to fight normally. If you score a successful unarmed attack on a standing opponent, you automatically rise to your feet. You do this by relying on your opponent’s weight however; if your opponent chooses, they may fall prone, entering into a grapple with you instead of being used to get you to your feet (you remain prone).
3. Tackle: If you are unarmed, you may designate an opponent within reach of a charge. If you make a successful Jump check indicating you could reach that opponent, you may make a grapple check as part of the charge. If your grapple check succeeds, both you and your opponent are knocked prone. If your grapple fails, only you fall prone. If you fail the Jump check, you can’t attack or charge this round.
Normal: (1) When you make a successful unarmed melee attack normally you are subject to an attack of opportunity before you can attempt a grab. (2) Normally a prone attacker takes a -4 to hit. You still get +4 AC against ranged attacks and -4 AC against melee attacks when prone, as usual. (3) Charge attacks are normally full round actions, meaning you couldn’t make a Jump check during a charge. Also, normal charge attacks end in melee attacks, not grapples.
Special: Should you fail in upholding the Warrior’s Code and news of your dishonor reaches the Zoorkhaneh, you are expected to return and make restitution. If you do not, a group of students will be sent to retrieve you and make you answer for what you’ve done.

The Warrior's Code
1. I shall never betray the Zoorkhaneh by teaching what I've learned to those unworthy, bringing a dishonorable person to the Zoorkhaneh, using what I've learned for profit by way of thievery, nor committing treason against the nation of Ayeer.
2. I shall always honor the request of an honorable dying warrior, friend or foe.
3. I shall not refuse a challenge. Though I may send a student or champion in my place, I will strive in every way I can to meet the challenge myself.

That's a lot of stuff to cram into a feat, and the prereq seems awfully easy to attain. A first level monk or fighter can get this rather easily. Any first level human can qualify regardless of class. Would make for an interesting human wizard though. :)

You may want to look into breaking this up into three separate feats. An example of ability #2 as a separate feat is in OA.

So if I kept the reqs the same and only provided the benefit of #1 enter grapple (dropping the other two abilities as separate feats) it would be balanced? Thanks!

I did come across this link on grappling feats. It's very nice...

As for the critical hit thing, I'm pretty sure the rules say that when unarmed you do not inflict critical hits (no confirm is rolled on natural 20). So the idea behind that part of the feat is that it restores the ability to score a critical hit on a natural 20 (though you must roll to confirm).

I'm going to keep working on it. I wanted to provide a unique feel to the feat as it represents a national sport and fighting art.
