New Games

First Post
I have been thinking about how this site can attract more players to participate in our world. The solution appears to be very simple to me. We need to run games. Without games, players will move on.

I suggest that we set up a situation in which there is at least one open sign-up game being run per week-end set in The 13 Kingdoms. If six DM's will commit to run a game then each DM will need to run a game at least every six weeks. This is something that I can stand behind. If more people will commit then the frequency of the commitment becomes stretched out.

Lastly, I think that we should be running these games in the same kingdom for consistency. That way players will not have to have their characters travel from kingdom to kingdom initially. Once the pattern of regular games and players is established we could set up a "Tour of the Kingdoms" adventure series.

Please sign up below for the week-end you would like to run your game:

Feb 6-8 Memnus
Feb 13-15 Emiricol
Feb 20-22 Entropy
Feb 27-29
March 5-7
March 12-14
March 19-21 Entropy
March 26-28

I propose that we run our adventures in Ulruz. It has recently been shaken by a civil war and local control is weakened. This can open up opportunity for a variety of adventures.

I just noticed this. I responded to an email Entropy sent. This is a good idea. I would suggest running the games in Mittendien because it has pretty much everything you need and is "normal" enough to be easy for new players to jump into.

Mittendein is good. Argossea would be, had it any CM. Kinrisar would work also. But, Mittendein is sort of "default D&D", and has nearby dwarves, elves, some gnomes, lotsa humans...

I can take February 6th.

At risk of double-posting this post, I hit stop to add this bit - over the next few days I'll post to the Mittendien forums and flesh out the autumn and winter events I had in mind. If we want to build this series around that theme we can, or just run random one-shot adventures.
