expand your initial thought. I'm not sure how to understand the question.

Hmm.. I am sure 4e core books will have subliminal messages incoded in them, forcing us to switch from roleplaying to rollplaying.

Yeah, that was sarcasm for you

This is one of those questions that is utterly unanswerable until we see the rules. Maybe it discourages roleplaying. How can we know?

Best to wait and see, and not jump to conclusions.

Fair enough, I just haven't been keeping up with it, and I was wondering along with all the hype and leaks of technology and the such if there was a leak of some ways they're using the rules allowing room to really get back into rollplaying.

Perhaps a special xp table where you earn just as much xp as you do for killing things?

Ah, I think I see.

If you type rollplaying when you mean roleplaying, people are going to think you're saying pretty much the opposite of what you mean. It's one of those mistakes you really don't want to make.

Would you like to edit? Topic may become more productive. :)

I think that in the interest of speeding up the game, 4e will deduct xp from players who talk in any manner other than to tell the dm how they are attacking. ;)

Hmm. I think I'll houserule this in my campaign and see how it goes. I'll report back on the thread next week... :p

Any non-rules-language speech costs 1 HP/word.
